On January 9, 2025, a specialized meeting focused on market opportunities and experience transfer in trade with Canada was held in the presence of Iranian officials, economic activists, the Trade Promotion Organization (+), and the Iran-Canada Association. Ms. Darvari, a representative of IAgri Technologies Inc., attended this meeting.

One of the proposals discussed in this meeting was named “Canada Day” in the Iranian commercial calendar, which is considered a significant step towards strengthening trade relations between the two countries.

This initiative was proposed by Dr. Masoud Daneshmand and, with the support of the Trade Promotion Organization, is now on the agenda of the Iran-Canada Business Association. It aims to create new opportunities for closer collaboration between traders, merchants, and private companies of the two countries.

This designation will create cultural and economic ties, provide a framework for increasing Iran’s exports to Canada, and enhance bilateral economic interactions. This initiative could pave the way for more streamlined and dynamic trade between Iran and Canada. We hope these developments will contribute to the flourishing of international cooperation and the growth of trade between the two countries. The emphasis of the speakers, especially Dr. Vahidi Rad, the President of the Iran-Canada Association, on paying more attention to the export of services from knowledge-based companies and Iranian startups was also highlighted in this meeting and can provide suitable opportunities for these companies.
